Just discovered a new location with a research bonus: Se’Claata 4 in the Se’Claata system. So, naturally, I want to build a research station there. But the tooltip for the “Build Research Station” button says that the planet is out of my construction ships fuel range. This, despite an already queued construction order there for a mining station:


Unless I'm missing something, if it isn't out of reach for a CS building a mining station, it shouldn't be for a CS building a research station.

EDIT:
Went back to the game, and, without unpausing it, I went in CC's New Research Locations, and from there, the button to build a research station at Se'Claata 4 is active and clickable. All the while still being greyed-out and unclickable in the selection panel!

Try setting construction of new bases to "recommend" and I'll bet you'll get a prompt requesting to build the same base that it won't let you manually build.

Yep, it does that. The advisor has some secret path to the site I guess. : )

Well, it's not in the Galactopedia, but the advisor uses spices... of the "Dune" variety (if you know, you know).
