I think it would be a good QoL improvement if when you right-click on a tech in the research screen it changes the info box to a description of the tech. The info can be taken directly from the Galactopedia. (see attached image for example)

There's been occasions where I'll look at a component in the research screen and wonder what its function is so I'll leave the research screen, open the Galactopedia, select components then scroll through the list to find and open it. I think this UI change would help a lot and be of great benefit to new players in particular.

yes to this, although I know all components in and out by now especially with weapons this could be handy if weapon descriptions would be in a way to explain in which scenario this particular weapon is useful as there is so many different ones and people are easy confused what each weapon family and its subtypes are really doing.
