Are the reinforcements (ship arrival,plane arrivals, troop arrivals,etc.) Somewhat historically correct?

The official scenarios are based on history, e.g. those that come with the game. They are numerous fan based scenarios which do vary the historical setup, some majorly but most still have some historical back ground. There's also the ability to vary the arrival date by upto 30 or 60 days when you start a scenario.
