Has anyone come across this before? Win 11 (but older PC). I had logged into the server successfully and downloaded a game then when I went to save it, the computer shut down. I got this error message once I restarted. I uninstalled WP and reinstalled and updated to .29. The error is still there.

The Matrix website has been having issues. I don't know if the server was.

If you give me the game instance id I can reset the turn. Your opponent will have to do it over again.

On occasion games get corrupted uploading.

I haven't even got to the game screen to be able to download something. I don't know that the game is an issue I'm having problems even logging into multiplayer that's when the error message comes up.

Oooh.....

#1 could be server is down
#2 a security software is blocking access

Those are usually the 2 reasons.

Try this also...

Go here.
C:\Users\...user name....\Documents\My Games\WarPlan

look for the files
playerData.dat
and or
playerDataSteam.dat

if you know your login and password close the game, delete these files, login again. It will create new ones. It could be corrupted.

Thank you. Turns out that was a corrupted player data file so deleting that and retyping in my username and password worked.

Don't know why it gets like this on occasion.
