I'm getting an error popped up to me in French right as the install of BoA2 is about to end. It says

Exception EAccessViolation dans le module AGESettings.exe dans 00003FA6.

Anyone else run into this of late and know of a remedy? I've tried to force the install setup app to Run As Administrator, to no avail. IIt seems to otherwise install most of the files, but trying to run the game gets similar access violations.

I'm on the latest patched Win11.

Any updates on this ? I recently tried installing to a new laptop and get the same French popup messages and unable to continue the install. This was using the install files from the Matrix site. Could somebody look into this ?

I also had this issue and found the solution in another topic.

The game installs correctly. However, you'll need to manually add your serial number (use Notepad) to the General.opt file in WIA/Settings folder.

In my case, introducing the key in that file didnt work

The latest version of the installer now works on my system. If you have not tried it with the [PC] Installer v1.10e
BirthofAmerica2-SetupRelease-v1.10e.zip (July 9th 2025) version of the exe installer, try again.
