I tried the experiment of early evac by transport of the troops on Guadalcanal. When the next reinforcements showed up they had nowhere to land on Guadalcanal and this caused a "log-jam" of reinforcements ; for the entire rest of the campaign I was unable to land any reinforcements at all. Not sure if this is normal ; thanks for any help

If the units set to deploy on Guadalacanal aren't deployed, and then their deployment locations are lost, then those units will be unable to deploy unless the locations are retaken.

However, it should be possible to deploy the other units set to arrive at other locations. It requires clicking on the relevant unit and perhaps waiting a second until the engine directs you to its location.

I will wait and see if redirected ; but I dont believe I was ever given that chance

It worked but I had to use the mouse cursor to highlight the ok button, then it became "ungrayed" and I was able to deploy other reinforcements
