About the bit on quads,
They are not only popular in battlespaces with uncontested comms. This is bit outdated, despite radio FPVs there is mass production of FPVs that typical run on single mode 0,5mm fiber on spools installed on the drones with ranges up to 20km. Fiber is connected via Opticalink with the radio/controller.

This is taken into account on the comms-jamming code, only radio comms are susceptible to jamming.
