Full campaign against AI

I have noticed that at the front aircraft replacement is frequently delayed. Is it advisable to remove depleted squads to the rear and can you get replacements there sooner

Supplies are needed to draw replacement aircraft.

IIRC 20K supplies at the base you want the planes to receive replacements.

To get reinforcement ........

This is all done with the following provisos:
• There’s enough aircraft in the pool (5.1.4.4).
• No more than 12 aircraft can be drawn at any one time.
• A unit can only take replacements once every 7 days.

For Land Based air units one of the following conditions must also apply, with the first one true will taking effect. Note
that an airfield must have less than 59% service or runway damage to be eligible.

• The unit is at an AF with more than 20K supplies (No airfield is needed for seaplanes).
• The HQ (most likely an Air HQ) of the unit is within transfer range of the aircraft model and the HQ’s AF has
more than 20K supplies.
• The Command HQ of the unit is within transfer range of the aircraft model and the HQ’s AF has more than
20K supplies.

Delayed means you just have taken reinforcements and now you you have to wait for 7 days before you're able to take more. You cannot assign more than 12 aircraft to your squadron (exception is upgrade, which is only limited by the available # of aircraft).

Actually, there is a way to assign more than 12 aircraft and then even more can be added later!

Sounds like a 'split the unit' strategy - because the AI will treat each sub-unit like it was a unit. Somewhat gamey, but the AI won't mind ...

Sounds like a 'split the unit' strategy - because the AI will treat each sub-unit like it was a unit. Somewhat gamey, but the AI won't mind ...

Then add even more after that!
