Do you guys every encounter a bug where the Return of the Shakturi plot gets stuck and doesn't progress or trigger? I've had two games in a row in which the SHakturi arrive, but stop in refugee status and ever trigger a colony.

I'm not sure what's happening to kill the trigger. Anyone know?

Do you have saves you can share with us from before the Shakturi arrive, when they arrive, and then some time after thye've been stuck?

I don't have the before they arrive as all my autosaves are bunched, but I did save the stuck version. There's a couple of mods (refreshed flags, Refreshed Components Facilities and Events).

I did restart a new game and change the scenario this time. In the 1st games I had already explored 100% of the galaxy (only a 4x4) and had ultralong scanners viewing all systems during the Refugee period.

In my last scenario, there was 50% of the galaxy unexplored and the Shakturi triggered their colony formation normally. Maybe its a matter of having too much visibility.

In this save I don't see any Shakturi at all. It looks like they may have been wiped out or defeated, so they never got a chance to settle and progress the story. Do you have other examples where the Shakturi are present and the story hasn't progressed?

Oops, wrong file.

I guess I already overwrit the save I thought I had. I'll keep playing more games and see if the bug recurrs.

I did start a new game and had no problems at all, everything worked fine. I can only speculate why it didn't trigger.
