Has anyone won this one?
I believe this scenario was created during the CMANO era, so I'm not that surprised that it is out of date in some respect.
I just played through it in Build 1638 (a beta), and got a Minor Victory score of 23 mostly by forcing Soviet A/C to maneuver such that they ran out of fuel on the way home (and also some nifty ASuW work on the part of the british subs and the French air wing). I used the Jaguars with AAR to kill the 3 outlying radar stations, but I never actually had an air-to-air engagement.
At this point I had about 8 hours to go. I was trying to figure out the best way to crack the Keflavik IADS.
Then I detected one of the convoys in the approaches to Keflavik and noticed it had a lot of AAW-equipped ships. As a result, I basically made the decision to trade the Churchill for one of its HVTs. I slightly damaged the HVT with straight-running torpedoes and lost the boat to an undetected SSN, cutting my score to 21 - still a Minor Victory. Then I just ran out the clock. Something else ran out of fuel during that period, bumping my final score back up to 23.
