Bug on the Allies side and bug on the Axis side

Encountered 2 strange potential bugs.
First was on my Axis PBEM. My opponent sent a 100+ strong fighter sweep. I sent a 4 a/c flight to get recon but then my flight engaged, causing the entire enemy formation to drop their fuel tanks. They then attempted to bounce my recon flight and then headed off home without reaching their target.
Second was also on my Axis PBEM but to do with my fighters.
I had Bf 110s at 25k feet to intercept a raid. I then clicked intercept and they dropped to 15k feet in 1 in-game minute. I understand why this happened, since the raid said it was at 12k feet due to radar inaccuracy but they were actually at 20-22k feet when I had a recon flight pass the raid.
These shouldn't be too hard to replicate but I will provide a video if required.

Hi.
Not sure about the 2nd issue being a bug, just an issue with the inaccuracy of the radar plot. Get your recon flight, the one at 35k plus right over the raid to get that accurate report before clicking intercept and no problems.
Only writing this as a long time LW player not a programmer. If your recon flight is more than 10k above an enemy mission it will not engage or be engaged unless you want it to.
Mark.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing.
I didn't time the interception correctly but them dropping 10k in less than a minute was very weird to see.

10K feet power dive over 60 seconds is not extraordinary for most WW2 fighters. Basically your only limit is your max speed, so 300mph over 60 seconds at a steep angle will drop you down 20K feet if you can maintain control and consciousness.
There are so many factors involved that trying to model it in a meaningful manner in the game is just not worth it.

Oh damn. Yeah, just wasn't sure since most things aren't that quick to occur.

There is too much reliance on all of the interactions taking place in a vacuum.
Maybe the Radar was being interfered with, or having problems in a system only a few years old, dont forget its not the well developed systems of the 21st century.
Europe is renowned for its clouds, maybe there were clouds between the fighters and their targets??
Maybe the "recce" pilot gave wrong details, he had to read maps, check courses, report in an make sure he didnt get bounced.
Trying to replicate all of the variables is impossible, this game gets as close to it as I have seen.

I've played a handful more days since I did this report.
Still having issues with 4 a/c turning back 100+ fighter sweeps with little consequence.
Is this gonna be fixed in the next patch?

That's the idea. I am stuck on a glitch right now that has really got me stymied. The only solution I found to that glitch breaks the replay feature. It should be easy to weed it out but the "a-ha!" moment has not occurred after many hours of trial.
