I got this some years back before discontinued, sadly cant buy it anymore from the Matrix Store. But i still have this box version and the cd, installed it and i think its version 1.1 something like that. So on the game launcher, hit the update, doesnt do anything.
Cant seem to find any download links on this site. Any tips? Btw are there any good mods for this to improve the graphics, cause sure is ugly lol.
Curious to stick with this game or get Steel Panther or w/e that is, been looking for a game similar to this one.

Thanks, i saw your post about downloading the patch, etc using foxfire or google, i dont use those. I did tried using the default Windows Explorer (since i havent had any issues with it) didnt work and want me to download the apps. I didnt want to use firefox or google chrome.
Noticed some sites had issues with Microsoft Explorer in the past.
Btw going to check to see if i did register this game, pretty sure i have. Otherwise they wouldnt send me the box version with serial key on the CD. I will check anyway.
Edited...
Forgot how to check Matrix download page to see if there a patch for this game. I will check again tomorrow or the next day when i get a chance, cause i get lost trying to find it.

1. Click on MY PAGE at the top
2. Sign in to your account.
3. When you do, you should see the games you bought and registered with the serial numbers, etc.
4. Find your game.
5. Click on FILE DOWNLOADS under the game.
6. You'll want to download the
PC installer 1.01 AND the PC Update v2.02.
7. Follow this procedure:

Thanks for trying to help, i did manage to find the game on my account. Had to register it, though it was already. So i manage to download it, patch it, etc. Still didnt work. Did that and this, as compatible and admin, still no luck.
I think i am going to move on to something else, find another game to hang out.

Not sure, may have something to do with the box version (CD) not compatible? IDK, but i uninstall that, delete everything in that folder and use that download from the Matrix site. After that, the game ran fine. Btw i didnt patch it or anything else, just checking the software out.
It is not bad, but sure could use an overhaul on graphics and UI. While in scenario or battle, there is no way i can go back to game menu or cancel the scenario i was into. So i had to force shutdown the game.
This game John Tiller's Campaign Series could work with my game board setup, was using that for tactical engagement for the game board. Wasnt sure if it has after combat reports that what was destroyed and damage, etc.
Btw i did find something online, google it as wargame creator or maker and found this Wargame Design Studio. Believe these games were from John Tiller as well. Two that i maybe interesting, to help out on my boardgame setup to carry out engagements, etc.
Only games i maybe interested in is Guadalcanal to carry out naval engagements, but wasnt sure if has or can add additional maps. Guess it doesnt cover Carrier or flattops. The Pacific War, look almost like Campaign series, that i may be interesting to get for ground battles.
Oh interesting, i didnt know John is from Little Rock, Arkansas. I grew up in Hot Springs, born in a Naval Hospital during 'Nam at Rhode Island.
