Reinstalled this game and no matter what I try it errors on the using next turn on the tutorial. the unit start their move and the several errors. I've attached the log file, it something about region not found.

I'm running as administrator and have tried all the compatibility settings with no luck. Also all patched up to 1.10E QF2. Couldn't access the AGEOD forum to post there.

Anyone have a solution?

If it is missing files, perhaps something in the installation went wrong?

Did you install the game, then applied the Patch_WIA_v1.10e in the same folder, and then the QF2?

Yea, i installed in that order. The log just mentioned a missing region. I think i had trouble last time I tried to play it, I had hope that would of changed as i do like the game. Was hoping maybe someone with AGEOD would look at the log and maybe make a suggestion as i see others our playing just fine.

And the scenarios work?

Anyway I would uninstall completely, and reinstall the game.

I was about to say it works fine for me - but now I find it doesn't - I get an access violation on start up. Maybe some recent windows update wrecked something.
NB I'm on a PC which was upgraded to windows 10 - I have found for instance there are some other games that won't work - e.g. Valor and Victory. I've bought a couple of old laptops for about £100 so that I can play old games - it is sometimes less stressful than the aggro of trying to get something old to work. Life is ebbing away far too quickly.


For what it is worth I can't get the original Birth of America to work on Windows 11 pro - but works Ok on 10 and 11 home version.

And what happened to my avatar? Actually, it was Warspite's after he had some aggro a few years ago.

For Ageod games, and others, is important not to install them In a "Program files" folder.

I think some avatars are gone after the forum update.
