The error is here:

And the scenario is attached.

A proper description of the problem: When a side is set as omniscient, instead of being omniscient, they shoot at the first location they detect a target at. When the target MOVES from this location, they continue shooting at that location. This may be linked to a secondary problem, where an omniscient side sharing data with another faction has all shared tracks show up with a TN of 0 and no data except the unit type, when viewed from the other faction.

Sorry, I should have done so properly. Essentially, when the player side is set as omniscient, units engage the spot where they first detected an enemy unit, not the location they're actually in. This leads to ships shooting at a coordinate where they first spotted an enemy ship while said enemy ship putters up and destroys them. There's also exception spam in the log (attached the exception) which I believe may be connected to it but I have no idea.

The error is still present in 1706. I've enclosed a save that proves it. The two F-102s near the viewpoint are chasing where the Tu-16 *was* but isn't anymore. Unassigning them and retasking them causes them to go after where the Tu-16 was at the time of the attack order. This issue also emerges if the player side is *allied* with an omniscient computer-controlled side, which I've tried to use to bypass the various glitches with omniscient side awareness.

Maybe omniscience just needs to behave like all enemy units are auto-detectable?
