In an attempt to gain time to get reinforcements into Rangoon, I pushed the Burmese garrisons forward.

When the "partisan" event fired releasing attacks on "Forces in Burma", the garrison not in Burma was attacked and took a step loss, but fortunately, survived to continue to be a block to the Axis advance.

I went looking for this script to get the details, but was unable to locate it. Can anyone give me a heads up where to find it? I would like to discover why my unit in Thailand was attacked by Burmese partisans.

Is this WAD, or an oversight because no one ever considered this possibility?

I think it's an oversight as normally the Axis are the aggressive ones.

I'm always looking for creative ways to accomplish my goals as can be evidenced by my earlier post about evacuating a Philippine corps to Australia. I gave up on that avenue as the 25% chance for survival in exile didn't hit for me and it was a waste of very valuable early MPPs.

I'll have a think about this, although I suppose it could be rationalised that by moving the forces out of Burma, their supply lines are more vulnerable to such attacks... hence the hit.

I would not change a thing. Pro-Jpn Burmese partisan strikes on a UK unit crossing into Thailand makes sense to me.

OK, I'm willing to buy into both rationalizations.
