A few quick questions

First off, I've found the posts and information about the game here on the forum truly interesting. This is a great community! Before I dive into my first major campaign, I still have a few small questions that I haven't been able to find clear answers to.

Air vs. Naval Interdiction: Is there a distinction between Air and Naval Interdiction? I ask because both terms are often used interchangeably. While the map allows me to display Air Interdiction, there's no similar option for Naval Interdiction. This leads me to assume they are essentially the same. Is this correct?

Amphibious HQs for Naval Interdiction: On a related note, I frequently see tips suggesting the use of Amphibious HQs for Naval Interdiction—specifically, moving them around to leave a trail of Naval Interdiction. However, when I maneuver my Amphibious HQs, it doesn't appear to happen. What might I be doing wrong?

Port Attack Types (Air): Just to confirm my understanding: When attacking ports from the air, does "Ground Attack Port" reduce Naval Interdiction originating from that port, and "Strategic Bombardment Port" reduce the port's capacity? Is this interpretation accurate?

Invasions and Armored Units: The manual states that Armored Divisions cannot participate in invasions. Does this restriction also apply to brigades/regiments (i.e., smaller armored units)?

That's all for now. Thank you in advance for your help!

Ground attacks on ports should reduce naval interdiction AND should also damage the port. To check the latter, look at port damage before and after a ground attack on the port.

I believe you can split an armor division into thirds, and one of the resulting brigades can be moved to an Amphib unit that is set to invade. The armor brigade should accumulate invasion prep points. But unless you have some particular reason to have an armor brigade, I'd likely just go with an armor battalion attached to an infantry unit. The reason for that is a brigade takes up 1/3 of the units on a hex, and if an invasion gets bogged down you might regret having an invasion hex limited to 2 1/3 divisions instead of 3 full divisions come, say, the second week of the invasion. But YMMV.

Thank you very much. So I know better how to deal with the ports. And of course a very welcomed tip on invasions regarding tanks. Thanks.
