Getting started manual and graphic update

Hello,
1) I and my friends were struggling to start play Shadow Empire until we watched Edmon's short tutorial "Ruthlessly Simplified Getting Started Guide" where he showed the priority pointers. The game should come with such short "Getting manual" as standard, just like WDS game series - example
2) Why mroyer's superb Terrain Mod is not included as standard as well? The game is heavy on the Scifi atmosphere, and this mod adds a lot-lot-lot of it!
I mean, why not to make starting players' lives nicer and easier? What's the reason?
