Hello All;
Had this games years ago ... want to renew. do not have old game, but want to acquire/buy serial number so I can play game .... saw it is discontinued on Matrix so I do I go about getting a copy ?

Your only option at present is to buy a used copy. I can't speak to the legality of that but I hope it is legal in your area.
