Using the Editor

Ok, I played the Blue and the Gray scenario and had fun with it. Now, I'd like to make a mod of the game where a player can be both the USA and Mexico.

So, I opened the editor. Clicked open a default scenari0 > Blue and Gray, and... It opened up another window with 3 folders in it: scripts, interface, and text. How do I get to the actual campaign where I can edit it and save it as my own file?

Please help.

So, basically don't click on the folder icons in the editor. You want to scroll down and click on the .cgn files below them (which I think stands for campaign). That will open the various named default scenarios. You'll have to save your mod as a .cgn file too.

Thanks for replying Bo Rearguard, I appreciate it.

You were correct. However, the folder was not showing any of the cgn files. It only showed the 3 folders I mentioned. I had to go to the c drive to the folder. There I found the cgn files and could load them from there. It also now lets me see the cgn files directly from the editor so the problem is solved. :D
