I'm not gonna go into too much detail (unless requested), but in my current italy campaign (germany was AI controlled except a few things here and there) I think I managed to do pretty well in the mediterranean theatre, yet it doesn't seem to have any bearing on the eastern front even with the UK and US being hindered, year is 1942 and soviets are starting to push germans back like they did historically and it's looking grim

I'm just curious, has anybody managed to pull off an axis win by playing italy? how did you do it? is the game supposed to end up with an allies win?
