I'm having difficulty reading ship names in the ship tool tip info box. Incredibly lame to place a name in purple on a dark background, especially so since purple is used as a galaxy background color.

Always use light lettering on dark backgrounds and vice versa! Please use a smarter color than purple for ship names, that light yellow color used in some places would be a perfect contrast color for ship names in the ship info box.

I'm playing the Humans and their faction color is purple so that's where the ignorant purple color is coming from for ship and base names in the tooltip boxes. I remember in some space game I was able to choose faction color when setting up a new game, even choose which ship style to use. It would have been better if the devs would have just used white as the color for ship and base names regardless of faction color so there'd be better contrast to make reading the names easier.

I went into the game editor and found that I could edit my empire color to a nice bright lime green color. Now the ship and base names pop out so easy to read. I'll have to see if I can choose empire color in the game selection screens next time.
