Differences between Fuel State (Joker) and Fuel State (Bingo) Doctrine? Chicken Fuel State???

Referencing weapon/fuel state doctrine article (https://command.matrixgames.com/?p=4182), I'm struggling how doctrines revised in v1.08 works.

Fuel State (Joker) must be what previously called "Fuel State Pre-Planned" (when A/C starts RTB), but I have no idea at all what Fuel State (Bingo), in Refuel categoly, is for.

Also, in Fuel State (Joker) doctrine, how "Chicken" (looks like new addition recently) works?

Thank you, always.

I opened the manual... and did CTRL+F on the word Bingo

Fuel State/Pre-Planned: This changes the time when an aircraft
automatically considers itself having insufficient fuel and returns
to base. The default is “Bingo” (just enough to make it back), but
can be changed to various “Joker” states to provide an additional
barrier against running out of fuel.

It's not that hard.. :geek:

The Fuel State (Refuel) expressed as a Bingo percentage, does it mean (using the picture posted) that the aircraft will seek a tanker when its fuel is at 0.8 of Bingo, or is it 0.8 of the former's fuel tank?

I thought so (aircraft will seek a tanker when its fuel is at 0.8 of Bingo), but unit still uses "Receiver start look for tankers when down to XX percent of mission" value in Tanker configure window, not this Joker doctrine value.

See attached test scenario. Mission CAP-1 has Joker doctrine as Bingo 80% while CAP-2 as Bingo 40%. "Receiver start look for..." values are both 30%. Both A/C start heading to tanker at the (almost) same time suggests that they use "Receiver start look for..." value.

Maybe just a placeholder value at the moment?
