When using OC on an land action... Does the HQ both double reorgx2 units and reorganize double the amount, or how does it work?

IIRW

The HQ has exactly the same Reorg points, it is just that it can reorg at half cost, all the land units it can reach.

It means an HQ of 4 can reorg in this case 4 land units (4*0.5=2)+ a plane (2 in a Land) or 8 land units (if you are not using certain optionals, plain vanilla game).

Non sarcastically...
That answered half the question.

Does the OC make my HQ do two things...
1. Double the attack of (Reorg value)*2 amounts of units
..then also
2. Reorganize units at half cost

or is it one or the other, or a combination of them?

Ok, but you didnt write Double the attack. You always wrote about Reorg Values

Yes, you can both duplicate your units in attack, AND get the mentioned Reorg bonus ...

As far as the HQ is not used to support the combat or gets disorganized as a result of the combat, itself.

Ok, ty mate. Super helpful.

I was superunclear, but I sorta mentioned it... "both double reorgx2 units"(strength). But I agree, it was really unclear what I was aiming at. Anywho, you explained it perfectly.

Does the "offensive HQ" automatically get disorganized at end of turn, no matter what?
ei, no point in not reorganizing even if it will be units that isn't super important.

Yes, the 'offensive' HQ gets disorganized at the end of the impulse, so it is indeed wise to use it for reorganization.

That is the wise thing to do ... usually.

However, sometimes with a strong HQ, it may be worth to try to secure the Victory or lessen your losses through using the HQ in support. Of course this is seldom the best use, it depends on whether the turn is about to end and the units will reorg themselves again at End of Turn, or/and it is a very important attack like taking Paris.

A +2 in the 2d10 may be priceless in that occasions, and if the turn is about to end...

Zhukov gives a +2.5 for example
