Bug in the editor "apply date" function

Working on my "Roman empire" campaign, I wanted to set all build dates in year 1 (in place of 1939)

I have to say that with the editor, it's a real nightmare...

I used the apply data function and it's work ok for countries : all modification I do for one country are transfered on all other countries I choice in the "APPLY DATA" funtion.

But fot the second scree (units), it does not work
Theorically, I should be able to do a modif for a unit (I;e HQ), and after modification, I should be able to use the APPLY DATA function to extrend the modif to all others units types in the list.
But in this case, the function does not work.

I will have to set manually 12 parameters from 1939 to 1 with the ascensor (duie to the lack of possibility to set myself directly the date by "enter" the correct wanted date)

In my opinion, it's not a good editor for some functions. This tool has real and very great possibilities, but it was though by a bad, rigid and not practicalway for some aspects (and the datation of build unit is an example of this rigidity)

And in addition of this rigidity, there is the bug I report. Poor modders... :?

One solution in the editor would have been that sort of additionnal option to save time : a unic box to check, to set all construction dates for all countries and for all units according to the start of campaign = in one unic little clic, we would have been able to set the choice date of start building for all units and all countries.

Thanks for the feedback and ideas, we'll make a note, and for some items, not all unit types have transferable data, thus the limitations.

For example an HQ does not have an Intercept range, and therefore it is greyed out and just preferably shows a 0 etc.

Thanks for precisions, Hubert. Effectivly, rigidity in editor is sometime needed by the complexity of the engine system, and we can not have the 2 : a good game and a a cumfortable editor. But would be a dream to have an editor that works by telepathy
