if i'm using surface raiders and they run out of fuel but get intercepted on the way home, are they more likely to be caught? sustain casualties?

does keeping my raiders in bad weather reduce the chances that they'll be detected(be that surface or subs?) if so, how much?

Being out of supply doesn't mean increased chance of interception

Bad weather reduces spotting chances.

Maybe it is worth merging with the other post of the same title.
