Problem War in the Pacific(Admiral edition)

Hello i bought last week the War in the Pacific(Admiral edition),and i have the problem that the letters of the scenario menu and in game are coloured in purple,i did this
(Try adding this in the target properties of the shortcut -f -px1920 -py1080 -deepColor -altFont)
but it didn´t work and i have the letters in purple,do you know another way of fix it?

You have to update the game to use the switches.

Try adding the -dd_sw switch as well….

If you get the original game and update with version .1126a, the update still leaves a bad shortcut on your desktop. That shortcut points to autorun.exe which is a menu mini-program that does not make use of switches. Most of that menu does not work so it should be discarded - shortcut and probably the .exe as well.

You need to make a shortcut by going to the place where the game files are and find the War in the Pacific - Admiral edition.exe file. Right click on it and choose "Create Shortcut".
Move or copy the resulting shortcut to your desktop, then add the switches using the hyphen at the top of the keyboard, not the minus sign from the numeric pad.

If you update using other versions, AFAIK the shortcut placed on your desktop already points to the game program.
