Overview maps with text labelled Entry locations

Hi,
When first new to LSA ... one thing that makes a Grand Campaign complicated, is trying to figure out where on a map your Battle Group is going to land when moving a Battle Group. Especially since the overview map (you can click on) while looking at the Strategic map ... doesn't have any text labelling of the Entry/Exit Victory Locations.

Earlier this year (2025), I labelled Entry locations on Overview maps for Gold Juno Sword version 16.
I think it helps players to see the area where they are going to land, when deciding to move onto a map.

For future reference ... here is the method I used to do this:

Process for doing this, if anyone else is interested for other mods, etc.

Using Mafi's 5CC:
File > Open > map you are working on. For example: Ardenne.txt,
Located at: C:\Matrix Games\Close Combat Last Stand Arnhem\GJS15\Maps

File > Export > Export OVM > Export overview as 16 bit TARGA. Save file with same name as map name (as seen in the Maps folder).,

Open the newly created .tga image in Photoshop, and add a text layer for each entry/exit VL. Will need your CC game open, (and into a battle) in order to locate VL's for comparison.,
For text, I'm using:
Open Sans, Bold, 18 pt, Sharp

When finished editing the VL's text, save file as a .psd ... into a separate folder, in case you need to make changes.,

Next, save the file as a copy, and as a .tga to your Maps folder ... and overwrite the .tga file you first made there. Remember to save it as 16 bit.,

Back in 5CC: File > Import > Import overview as a 16-bit TARGA. And select the map .tga file you just created with the text VL's.,

At the top of 5CC:,
Visibility > Show OVM.
And in that window select: File > Export OVM file ... and save as the map OVM you are replacing, by selecting and overwriting it.
