I really like the bleach Map mods for War in Europe and World at War. Is something similar available for War in the Pacific as well? For my taste the bleached maps look way better and are better to read. Thanks for any hints!

The Iron Cross mod in the other SC titles has the bleached map look. Just move the Iron Cross mod over from the War in Europe game to the mods section of this game. Activate the Iron Cross mod in the Mods menu and you're there.

Ah, thank you very much! So all the games use the same terrain tiles then? I'm asking cause I'd also prefer a bleached map in World War I and American Civil War. Again, thank you for making me aware of this!

I think it works for all parts of the series except “American Civil War.” Here, terrain changes have been implemented that are not covered by the “bleached map mod.” For example, navigable rivers.

Where is the mod folder, or where should it be placed? I have tried to create my own mod folder or place it int the campains folder. No mods shows up in game under settings for Iron Cross. Using the 4.6 version.

Go to---> Documents / My Games / Strategic Command WWII-War in the Pacific. You should see a Mods folder. If not then create one there. That's where to put the Iron Cross mod. Don't use the Campaigns folder as it's only for game data.

I found my mistake. As it often is, the error was self-inflicted and the error lies in the details.
My mistake was that i followed that game path from Steam which is wastly different from the other folder path
