air phase changes

Greetings Mr. Red Lancer, hope your day is going well. I am currently in challenge with Mr. Metalist and we are playing the WitW 1943-1945 Grand Campaign. all levels are set as normal and 100%. NO EFC. The scenario option is (Expanded Allied Air HQ). We played a year ago and now doing it again since we had so much fun. By the way, he was Germany and won with a minor victory last time.
Following are a couple points that we have run into, should be looked at by you and if possible, changed.
the Luftwaffe is able to reposition aircraft and then fly missions. this negates Allied reconnaissance for ground aircraft bombing, along with making the effect unrealistic. Hopefully, a simple solution would be to not allow aircraft to perform a mission if it has relocated to a new airbase. Just like aircraft that have just been pulled from reserve. This would add to realism too. I cite the Luftwaffe but of course this would affect the Allies as well, impacting at least the invasions of the Mediterranean. Good limitation for both sides.
Second point deals with air crew morale recovery. It is split in two stages, logistics and then during / after movement phase. What can be done is using aircraft during air phase and them placing same on rest before ground phase. It sort of circumvents the system. A good fix for this would be for aircraft to keep what they are set on through the whole turn. Meaning, once a aircraft flies a mission it cannot be changed again until the next friendly air phase. Aircraft placed on just one air phase, such as friendly or enemy, will would not be effected negatively since they only have half fatigue flying one phase.
Sincerely, Kent Kroeckel
PS: Metalist and myself have a AAR with this game and we invite you to take a look or leave a comment. You of course know more than we could ever hope to. But we have tried to present it in an informal tutorial way. Especially since WitW air interface is complicated. Expanded Allied HQ adds another layer to show its full potential.
