Message to offical support / VIC

Loving this game, but questions and problems keep coming up that aren’t described anywhere. I’d like to point out that I’m not a beginner and that I know the series well. The forum exists so that people can ask their questions here and get help. Unfortunately, all of my questions have remained unanswered since July. I’m afraid that other players may not be able to answer them. That’s why I was hoping that Vic would respond, since he seems to be the only one who can help. Unfortunately, Vic hasn’t answered any of my questions, nor does he respond to private message. It’s a real shame, because I enjoy playing the game. But what’s the point if you don’t get any support? Decisive Campaigns is a great series, but without official support, I’ll have to put it aside and won’t buy any more titles. Really a pity — great game, very poor support!

Well, your not wrong. Love the DC titles and most all of Vic's games, but answering game play questions in the forum has never been his strong suit. I believe nikdave is designer and it really falls on him to be more Johnny on the spot with answering questions and manual updates. I know he's working on the next DC title but you got to support what's already released. Sorry I don't have the answers to your questions, haven't played DCA is quite a bit.

YEah I spotted a bug in Barbarossa, a road that isn't a road where it should be. Pointed it out, it never got fixed.

Yes, Nikdav takes on a lot, but he couldn’t help me either. We’ve already been in contact, and he also said that maybe only Vic knows the answers to that.
So I hope that Vic reads this post and answers the questions. It would be nice if he could take more time to answer the questions that aren’t documented or help with errors as well.
Even if he’s working on a new title, he should take an hour within 2–3 months to answer questions. After all, otherwise no one else can help. Hope springs eternal...

I'm really sorry, but be patient, Vic is very busy with the Shadow Empire DLC Republica (nearly ready), and we also have dozens of testers working on DC5 who need daily support and update. I'm doing my best, but I don't know all the specific features of the engine.

Hey Nikdav, thank you for your reply and thank you for giving us hope. Hopefully, Vic will take the time, even though he has many other things to attend to.
