[Fixed][1728.2] 4 cluster bombs erase entire city

Take a look at the lone Su27 approaching Riga from the South. In a few seconds it will release 4 cluster bombs (250+ damage points each) which will result in the annihilation of the capital of Latvia (50,000 damage points).
(if it was not for the scenario event trigger I would not have noticed it)

The scenario designer used a city market unit instead of a city units which is fine. Markers are used for things that won't/shouldn't be hit or a single point target. If this is a user scenario you're likely going to have to go to the scenario designer not the game devs.

Form what I see (a) the DB item is clearly a Marker of a City and (b) its unit panel says that it has 50,000 damage points and (c) the relevant trigger (in the event editor) clearly refers to "City"
Can you please point me to what you refer as "city unit". Under what category can one find them in the DB, assuming I would like to improve the built?

You're right. It has 50000 points. It should definitely be hit with a cluster bomb or 1000. Carry on!

Hello,
the Message log shows massive underground shock damage. Afaik this a secondary damage from penetrators in case of nearby misses. Not sure if this a database issue or a game miscalculation. But the damage seems to be far to high.

That is my feeling exactly and the reason I reported it. It might have to do with the particular munition. Who knows?

Thank you for the report. When the issue is focused on the interaction between two units and can be reproduced using only those two, a scenario featuring exclusively those two units is much more useful.

I tested the issue with other aircraft and weapons. It can be reproduced. It happens when the weapon misses the target.
