[WAD] Possible sensor bug (build 1.08 1728.2).

Hi everyone,
I’ve encountered a recurring issue with the 48Ya-K1 radar (unit #3431) in Command Modern Operations that may indicate a bug or misconfigured sensor behavior.
Problem description:
The radar fails to detect any aircraft flying above 33,500 feet — even when they pass directly overhead. This was discovered while testing a custom scenario with four different aircraft, each having distinct radar cross-section (RCS) values. All aircraft were flying at the same altitude (above 33,500 ft), and none were detected by the 48Ya-K1.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch a custom test scenario with four aircraft of varying RCS.
2. Set all aircraft to fly at altitudes above 33,500 ft.
3. Position radar 48Ya-K1 directly beneath their flight path.
4. Observe that no detections occur, even with direct overflight.
Expected behavior:
The radar should detect aircraft within its coverage zone, especially during direct overflight, regardless of altitude (within technical limits) or RCS.
Actual behavior:
No aircraft are detected above 33,500 ft. This creates a critical blind spot in air defense coverage.
Additional notes:
• Game version: 1.08 Build 1728.2
• Platform: Steam
• Scenario: Custom test setup (no mods)
• Issue history: The bug may have existed in earlier builds — it was discovered by chance.
• Other radars: Radars operating in the E/F bands detect the same aircraft at high altitudes without issue.
• Terrain settings: The issue persists regardless of whether Effects of Terrain Type or Effects of Terrain Type - ADVANCED are enabled or disabled — these settings have no impact on the radar’s behavior in this case.
Suggestion:
Please review the configuration of the 48Ya-K1 radar, especially:
• Maximum detection altitude
• Frequency band behavior
• Beam pattern and elevation limits
• Sensor model logic for high-altitude RCS handling
Happy to provide logs, scenario files, or further testing if needed. Thanks in advance for looking into this!
