Game won't run on Windows 11

I posted this in the general forum in my panic.
My system drive crashed yesterday and the repair shop put in a new drive. Unfortunately they also installed Windows 11 instead of Windows 10.
When I try to start the game I get an error saying a file is missing.
I have the Matrix games all installed on a game drive and not the system drive. Could it be that the file that is missing gets installed there for some reason or that there are no registry entries anymore for the games?
