I'm a newbie really, and have fallen totally in love with the concept of the WitPAE game! This looks like so much fun! Someone would have to be crazy to tackle this huge detailed game and have a lot of perseverance too, that's me! There are so many smart and savvy warriors out there that I am almost embarrassed to post this. I need someone to get me going. First getting the game to play on my laptop would be a good start. What are all of the step by step (explained for someone that isn't too computer literate) instructions on downloads, mods, and tweaks to make this thing work like it should? Would someone become a WitPAE gaming friend and work with me to play this game? The holidays are a rough time to start this project, but if I could get things rolling now on proper setup then I would be available to start up a game in the new year, learning the Allied side first please. Any friendly person out there that can help me out with all the qualifications mentioned above? Oh did I mention patience? That would be a requirement too.

I would stay away from the mods right now, other than maybe selecting a different map art if the stock map isn't to your liking.

Start with the Coral Sea scenario and later familirise yourself with the grand campaign map's geography, possibly in scen001.
