Has anybody created a list of the bases/airfields in India organized into north, south, east and west regions?

I haven't seen such a list.

All India's bases are neatly organised in one big landmass linked by rail and roads

I'm assuming this is tracker regions? Why do you want to?

I have thought about this and haven't come up with a reason to have such a list....GP

Wait, India does have three static command HQs (N, S, E). However, I don't see any way to make them responsible for district defense in an organised way.

Bases have an assigned HQ, but I am unsure whether it is high level (India Command HQ) or can be lower level like the regional one. It may be possible to reassign them with PP, but I see no benefit to that. Those regional HQs should park within command range in the midst of their most important bases/cities. They can affect reinforcements/upgrades and battle outcome at the base they have prepped for.
HQs also draw a considerable amount of supply to themselves so they could be useful at an air base where 20K+ supply is needed to get replacements or change aircraft models.

Given that this question is likely related to Tracker regions, I would NOT advise going in this direction. Given how the game will move resources around, your economic data will be very difficult to use in terms of being able to see trends (like "Do I need to ship more supply to India? and if so, how much?"). It is generally better, as the IJ, to aggregate areas that are connected so that you can readily see the resources in that area. Then you know what and how much of something you need to move ... the exact location of where that something is you can control as the flow of resources within a connected area are very much under the control of the player ....

Taking this one step further, you may wish to aggregate areas that are NOT connected, but which you plan to control as an aggregate. Example: PI islands. Between Luzon and Mindanao there are several groups of islands that produce resource. You may wish to see these as an aggregate to setup your cargo routes to Luzon where the LI there can process into supply. Seeing them as an aggregate, you can move the requisite cargo ship there, and then distribute them as needed to the individual islands ...

Since each player is quite individual in their style and strategic goals, it also follows that most of us use a very custom tracker area base list. We start with someone's who has a play style close to our own, but then we customize it to exactly how we play ... I should add that mine evolves with the game. The list at the start is not the same list in use at 3/1/42. Further, as allied bases are taken in certain areas, the I will change the area that conquered bases are part of so that my economic data pulls show me that area including these newly taken bases ... many other players do similar things ...

just my thoughts ...

I beleive it's tracker related, Regions are certainly not needed in game. It's my belief that those who set up tracker used regions so they could keep track of the four resources. As these predominately move my rail, and borders play no part in it, there is little point in breaking India into smaller areas. For China it makes sense as the rail network is not complete but India's is.

Sorry for not replying sooner - I was having a photography weekend and was busy either taking photos or editing my backlog.

This isn't Tracker related and I made my own list in notepad to use for what I needed which was to figure out what I have and where so I can make better plans. I know some people will say use Tracker but for this I just can't get what I need in the format I need.
