I have some issues using windowed mode. It seems that I can't find good px-py values. I can run the game only in full screen mode (which is a bit too high for a windowed mode) and small resolution 1152 x 864.

None other works. Any suggestions?

You can force a different resolution by adding an 'f' to your values - i.e. pxf xxxx, pyf xxxx.

I wanted to do full screen mode but could not keep the Windows Task Bar from popping up so I had to settle for a window. Since I have a wide screen monitor and I need the bottom of the screen free to show all the base information, I moved the task bar to the right side of the screen (where only off-map bases are at the edge of the game screen).

It would be helpful to see your switch string. Mine is:
"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -altFont -archive -dd_sw -deepColor -px1680 -py1050 -w -fixedArt -skipVideo -multiaudio -SingleCpuOrders -cpu3

It would also help to see a screenshot of what the game looks like on your full screen.

Thanks! Adding 'f' worked, now I can run the game almost full screen windowed mode.

My full screen problem was same as yours, lowest line of base information was missing.

For making the Windows task bar disappear I've set the following as per in the screen shot. Should work in Windows 10/11 and allows me to see the bottom edge of the game ... want the task bar to appear hover mouse above the bottom edge of screen and move the mouse away and the task bar disappears again..
