11th Army twice !!!!

Hi
I was just looking through the Axis reinforcement schedule for patch 104.12 and it has the German 11th Army transferring from turn 198 1st April 1945.
This seems to be a mistake as the second transfer might be for the 11th SS Panzer Army.
I say this because both 11th Army and 11th SS Panzer Army are both transferred from the Reserve to the map on turn 190 4th Feb 1945.
regards

1941 Grand Campaign I have not looked at any other campaigns could be in the Stalingrad / Berlin as well, but again I was just looking at the 41 Campaign at the time.

Which turn are you yourself at?
There are multiple 11th German Armies and the HQ of the first 11th Army gets renamed several times and then others get created/renamed (wheatever).
This Transfer report afaik uses the "current name of the HQ", so it says the 11th Army, but it actually means "XYZ HQ (renamed 11th Army's name)".

There are the renames of the initial 11th Army. So when the transfer happens it will be named the "Army Group A" already.
Depending on what date you check the list, this name will(afaik) vary depending on it's current name you will see other names pop up there.

Strange the shedule does not use the then-current name from renames. But anyway this 11th army turned Armygroup should not move west.

Hi Wiedrock
In answer to your question I am at turn 68 and you are correct looking at the rename schedule at turn 68 the Army is the 11th however by the time it get to turn 190 it has several names changes as by my screen shot and the screen shot Denniss posted, so it makes sense that at the time it was still 11th Army in the current time frame by the time turn 190 rolls around its a different name.

Hi Denniss
You and Wiedrock are both right on the name changes of this army, being at current 68 Oct 1942 turn the Army is the 11th but buy 190 Feb 1945 it will be called something different.
Here is the full details from my from the screen shots
Current turn 68 Oct 1942

Here you on turn 190 both 11th Army and 11th Panzer Army arrive from reinforcements to the same hex grid again 11th Army will be most likely Army Group A by then, OK

Now here is turn 198's transfer schedule with two 11th Army's transferring from map to western front, one of them will be Army Group A by then but which one, and here is something else I noticed about both Army's

In this screenshot shows the top 11th Army transfers West comes under the command of Army Group B grid hex location 254,200

In this screenshot the lower 11th Army transfer also goes West but is still assigned to OKH with no grid hex location, is this correct

I think the only way you can know what's really going to happen is to look at the units in the editor.
