It actually is a big deal as I've discovered working on my mod. Shattering and retreating are two different things. As you have naval battles in that area the confederate ships just ping pong back and forth and back and forth it is ridiculous and messes up the naval conflict around New Orleans...ElvisJJonesRambo wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 3:44 am I recently played single-player, and got this.

Just to update everyone we discovered that ships set at strength 5 like gunboats would retreat even if there was no damage and Hubert has fixed this also.
