Hi Guys
Been poised with my credit card and FPC SS serial ready to buy the game here but just seen that its already on sale on Steam at £20.59. Before a charge ahead and buy it there is there anything in the Matrix release that is not in the Steam version?

Both versions have the same content.

There's no functional difference between Steam and Matrix versions of the game.

The only difference is where you buy it from. If you buy the game from Matrix, you will be able to claim a free Steam key from the My Page area of the store page.

How to get %50 discount on Matrix site if I already own previous version. I click on upgrade and it says $54.98. Do I need a code? If I go to Steam I can get it for 24.99, would rather buy on Matrix.

Here is the bundle store page. You'll need to already own Southern Storm through the Matrix store to be able to bundle it.

You need to be logged into your Matrix Store account and have registered your copy of Southern Storm. With that said, it turns out there was a bug in our site which is being fixed.

Our IT folks are saying it will be fixed in 30 minutes. The issue is how you add bundle into the shopping cart. If you add the bundle using button from inside the bundle, it works as intended. If you add the bundle into the shopping cart by pressing a button in a list of products it does not work.

This issue is now fixed.

Just purchased on the Matrix site , usually the game shows in my library immediately but its not showing. I received the email with the receipt and the download link but I will install with Steam so was looking to get the Steam key. Even when I go back to the store it doesn't show I already own the game. Looks like the game isn't registering to my account.

I manually registered the game, that worked fine.

Were you logged into your Matrix site/store account when you purchased? The auto-registration only happens on purchase if you are logged in.

Typically if you buy the game on Slitherine/Matrix you also get a Steam key. Plus, buying here you own the game - not the rights to access the game. A BIG difference.
So I bought the upgrade. Downloaded and installed. Why isn't it showing up on My Page - and are we not getting Steam keys if we buy on Slitherine?

This happened to me as well - not showing up in my "My Page" on Slitherine and so therefore no Steam key. I'm okay with downloading it from y'all but it is a little concerning that it isn't showing up on My Page. And yes, I was logged in.
Edit: I did realize - I bought it through Slitherine, not Matrix. Are both sites fixed?

Yes, should be working on both.

That's what I had to do - register it manually. I didn't realize that was a thing. Fortunately it was easy to figure out! Thanks!

The store Humble Bundle has this game for just over 21€. Is this purchase also depended on owning FP: Southern Storm?
In the store it says nothing about requiring a previous game.

So, i bought the game. I confirmed it didnt ask for any other older software.

Sure enough, steam says i need to have the original game (?).
I placed a ticket with the vendor....lets see...

I can drop a line to our Matrix Producers to look into his issue with Humble Bundle. I was not aware it was on their site.

Shows $19.99 for me, not even on sale. FPCSS is 40% off and still selling for $35. somethings weird.
