Games w/active Oponnents Wanted traffic

Nosing around several of the games in the forum (targeting those which have 2 or more plyer options), was surprised how many seem to have a lack of activity in the Opponents Wanted section .....
Not sure if most/part of this is most gamers
- prefer to only play single player ?
- looking for opponents elsewhere, other than Matrix ? If so, where ?
- some other reason ?
Witp AE looks to have the most active Opponents Wanted section and has a long history of this ....
Just curious as my new game selection is always influenced on finding a human opponent which some games for whatever reason don't seem to attract much "action" .....
