Avast Antivirus is reporting the Win95:sk virus upon installing and again upon virus-checking the tos_ws.exe file later.

The detection appeared on 2 different copies on 2 different machines (My copy on my machine and a friends copy on his machine)

I've tried a number of other anti-virus programs but nothing is detected, I'm guessing it's a mistake in Avast antivirus.

Yep, it is definelty a problem with the AV application. This is not uncommon actually. I had these kind of problems with earlier version of Norton Internet Securtiy. Since version 2001 I have never wittnessed false warnings anymore.
