I know, maybe I am just venting.

So I think I did win my first multiplayer game. Conquered Germany, took Paris, bottled up the Axis on the Balkan, Norway, Italy and parts of France. I really wanted that winning screen.
But I cannot finish because my opponent finished the game.

I understand that sometimes it is tiring and demoralising to finish a losing game. On the other hand it would be great to finish that game against AI if the opponent gives up. Just be able to download the game and finish it as single player.

I really hope to be able to do that sometimes. Is there maybe a hack or workaround how that can be implemented?

There is an issue with the end of game mechanics I have observed over many games. What I do on my side and ask the opponent to do as well is when the victory screen appears I screen shot and email it to my opponent so at least they get to see the results. I still tell the game to upload to the opponent but it rarely if ever works. This doesn't prevent an opponent from surrendering the game early, but I would hope that any opponent would have the respect for your time to discuss a surrender ahead of time.
