War in the Med?

Probably getting ahead of ourselves since this isn't released yet, but with the "expanded map" for "future purposes", I wonder if this wouldn't be an excellent engine for a WW2 War in the Med. Is that maybe a future plan?
IIRC, someone tried to make a War in the Med using the WITP-AE engine/editor, but it didn't quite work, because the land combat and supply situation was too abstract.....since the MED focus is really getting supplies/troops to North Africa (or preventing that), without the right conditions in North Africa it basically just became two fleets going at it for no particular reason other than to just go at it.
Feels like these improvements to land combat, plus making supplies more complex, might do the trick to give a War in the Med a strategic purpose and focus
Pull that off, and I think there would be alot of takers to see the Regia Marina (and Luftwaffe) vs. the Royal Navy (and friends).
Thoughts?

I think War in Spain is what Uncomon Valour was to Witp. And we will see soon (5 years maybe) this War in the Med you are talking about.

You sure? War in the Med is referred to in
Dev Diary #2. Although that never came to fruition at that time (shame!) I think that's a pretty big clue that of the other games they have in the pipeline one might be the Med.
I hope it's not going to be a War in the West with navy, but a full naval WITP:AE type experience with the land/air combat in Yugoslavia, Albania/Greece/Cyprus, Syria/Lebanon as well as across the whole of North Africa. The Campaign would be fantastic, and I think unique in scope. And the possibility for smaller self-contained scenarios would make that a big draw, I am sure.
5 years to wait for that would be very disappointing.
