The new AI is better, Germany now actually has mobility; but it still cheats a bit (see the German tank in Toulouse that doesn't have a supply but moves as if it did). It still hasn't captured Paris and the Russians are coming.

Hi
Just to clarify: AI controlled units receive the same supply and cannot move any further than human controlled ones. It is not cheating here, and you could test it out by loading up a previous save and switching sides.

New AI? When did that happen? Also, does that apply to WiE?
Thanks.

It has had improvements over the years, applied to all games, but there isn't a new AI as such. I assume the opening poster is simply playing using the latest patch, and comparing it to a previous version.

Thanks Bill for the clarification. This tank comes from Milan, has crossed the Alps, a River has attacked Lyon, and has opened a path I doubt (two turns). The AI is the best Matrix has, and we have it; you know the game better than anyone, but in this case, I'm not worried about supplies, but about the ZOCs.
