Considering operation Absolute Resolve, should we expect a Database revisit / reassessment of JY-27 capabilities against stealth aircraft, it jamming resistance and integration with IADS? It seems that their performance was far from stellar

After every event where we get sketchy "performance" information, there is a hue and cry for re-evaluating the db for specific capabilities. Do you know anything in detail about how it was operating. Was it manned? Who was it manned by? What were the targets? There are dozens of questions that at least need some form of clarification before knee-jerk reacting. Go back and look at the threads for the Moskva.

That's up to the DB team but probably not. We haven't made knee jerk reactions in the DB. Why would we start doing that now?

As we did during sinking of RKR Moskva back 2022, we again MUST read some documents by Devs:

In short: (basically) same S-125/SA-3 can be both SEAD target and Nighthawk killer by whether it's operated by Iraqi or Serbian.

And remember, operations by US special force does NOT always success, let alone Eagle Claw and Mogadishu (such operation were failed not because ruling government was Democrats :D ):

Its not just knowing whats been discussed in the past. There's a level of common CMO sense involved.

It was widely reported that USN P-8's and EA-F-18G's were "trolling" along Venezuelan airspace near the coast off and on for days/weeks/months. Mapping and identifying every electronic signal they could find. It's plausible they were jammed hard, or rendered non-operational through other methods to provide a clear path for the extraction team.

Maybe that RQ-170 has some nifty kit on it to blind FCR on certain SAM platforms?

But it could also be poor maintenance/operation or just plain lack of situational awareness.

For a month at least F-35s were approaching the air space boundary to trigger radar and air responses. Thats a trick right out of the Israeli and cold war playbook. I'm sure there were Rivet Joints right behind them somewhere.

Considering many air defenses were destroyed in hangars, claiming that equipment "didn't perform as expected" is fairly wrong. After all the tensions brewing, the Venezuelans didn't think to disperse and camouflage their systems... perhaps because Maduro was sold out by his own people. Either way, comparing the US to some 3rd world SH, even with decent air defense is pointless, you can give the "other side" ANY system in the world and the US would still get through as ISR and pure mass will break any air defense system. If maduro had Patriots and F35s, the result would have been the same.
