Why pick Camberra (not a port) and not Sydney (equally distant) or the even closer Port Kembla is anyones quess. Just a strange game quirk.

Without a picture of where the attack taking place nor opening my game to look, my guess would be that Canberra was the closest base to the submarine attack.

Good for morale in the Home Islands.

I'm not going to post a pic it's just a info in a very, very minor report that seems strange in reporting a conflict at sea as being close to city 93 miles inland. In fact the distance inland is further than the furthest inland point in the UK which is only 70 miles a little north of Birmingham. If anyone ever report a real event at sea as being close Birmingham .......

Maybe it is VPs?. Canberra is worth tons of victory points, even for Allies.

Applogises to all, I might have been having a bad day yesterday.

I took the attack at the location the sub was in during the planning phase. It was patrolling and forgot it attacked further away. Camberra was the closest base, but it's still not on the coast.
