Ability to see air intercept range

Hi,
I'd love to be able to see at what range my fighters would intercept enemy fighters. Could make it show the range at the current readiness or make the readiness changeable so we can get an idea of interceptor performance at various readiness levels. I know the intercept range is not the same as a fighters normal range, it's less because of the need to patrol areas and whatnot I assume. But it can be hard sometimes to figure out if my forward airbases are close enough to the front line, especially as the frontline moves.
