Units will not revert to mission throttle

I have always had this issue and manually worked around it but in the current scenario it is driving me nuts. If I change an assigned unit's throttle, nothing I do will make it revert to mission throttle. In this scenario, mission throttle for attack is full. DD-844 Perry transited to the target at full throttle until within sonar range when it slowed and has varied throttle on it's own since. I manually changed the throttle of DD-946 Edson at one point to creep. Nothing I could do would make it change throttle on its own after that. I unassigned and reassigned it to the mission. I unassigned it, gave it a course and let it run out and then slow to stop, and then reassigned it. No matter what I do, it is going to stay on the last speed I manually gave it unless I change it on my own, unless maybe if it is engaged defensive. This seems to happen with all platforms, air, surface, subsurface (not sure about ground units). I don't know if it always does it, but often enough to be frustrating. I "think" if the unit RTB's and redeploys it will then work correctly but that's impractical or impossible most of the time. Any fix for this? Maybe I am missing something obvious. Save attached.

Thanks.

Did as displayed in the video and it seems to work this way in B1776.

I do not know whether there is a bug or not.

Think I just figured it out after all these years...you have uncheck the manual override box in throttle settings. So I guess I was missing something obvious after all.

Thanks.

But it is only available for the Edson, not for the Perry.

That might be because I did not change the throttle settings for the Perry. It adjusted throttle on its own. The Edson might have also if I let it but it has a much less capable sonar and was charging at the sub contact at flank speed so I manually slowed it down. I just never noticed that once I change throttle settings on a unit, a check mark appears in the manual override box. Once I unchecked that box, Edson also appears to be adjusting throttle on its own. If that ends up not being the answer I'll follow up.
