How many of you like me?

I'm patiently waiting for tutorial videos to begin playing the game. TBH, I'm too old and lazy to read an entire manual (didn't use to be that way as I thoroughly read GGWITE2, WITPAE and others). I love intricate and in depth games, but at 60 years young, I just don't have the drive anymore to read a long manual anymore. Waiting patiently for Jochem's tutorial series.

If you play WITP:AE fairly well, then you can just skim the manual when you need to learn something. You can start with the smaller scenarios to learn the game system.

I am like you and what I did to get around reading the entire manual was I fed ChatGPT the entire manual and then just ask it how to do things. It’s like forcing a friend to read the darn thing and answer all your questions but only as you think them up, not just in one long boring reading. (Basically exactly how I play any complicated board game with my friends! Doh!)

Here is an example operations mode combat mode and attack type analysis guide https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AmC ... p=drivesdk

I do the same although I use Gemini as I pay for it and have the Pro Version. Iam German and sometimes english manuals are hard to understand. Now with AI it becomes so much easier. I copy the passages that I struggle with and copy it to Gemini and then I write "Bitte erkläre mir das" (Please explain that to me) and he gives me a perfect easy to understand explanation in German. Its just phantastic.

Very odd that Matrix have released it this way with virtually no tutorial material available at release and everyone who hasn't a clue about the system now waiting for that material to be drip fed out.

Separately, the price point seems curiously low, lol, given how much WitE2 and WitPAE cost. I mean, I would happily have paid 50EU for something this detailed. Mind you, I might then have expected some tutorial material to ship with it!!
