Currently the game uses a gradiant from red->black.

I'm finding it a bit distracting, is there any way to make the background of these windows unison, only red like the left part?

The background goes from red to brownish black...

It symbolizes the fight of red left-communism against brownish black fascism.

I don't think anyone would want to remake it anytime soon.

I'm not talking about someone remaking anything.

Since the colors are matched to this specific conflict, as you point out, it should mean the other planned games in the series will likely have different colors.

So the question is if it's possible to change the colors by changing values in a file or if it's set by constant values in the actual code.

It's all about the graphics.

Would indeed be nice to know someone giving an actual answer to this.

The files are in the ART folder. You just need to find the box art or whatever you want and replace the colors.
